Nicky Monet is no stranger to the entertainmment industry, and she makes that clear on the new reality series Slag Wars produced by Daddy Couture and Men.com. Nicky is a self proclaimed “Transgender, loud mouth American” and she instantly beacme a favorite of mine after watching the first episode, which premiered November 27th.

Monet, a drag perfromer from Florida, has been working in the entertainment industry since she was a child. From being on Nicklodeon, to touring with some well known boy bands in her younger years, to performing for the Kardashians earlier this year, Nicky Monet is on a path to success, and theres no stopping her.

Nicky’s latest venture started when she was welcomed into the Daddy Couture family after she was asked by owners Matthew Camp and Rebecca More to model for the company’s underwear line. Flash forward a couple years later, and she is now a contestant on Season One of the amazing Slag Wars!

I was lucky enough to interview Nicky and a few of her castmates for Hometown Highlights as well as review the first episode. I am so thankful, and beyond grateful for the opportunity!
